Social implementation of IoT technology, in which IoT devices such as smartphone and various mobile sensors are all connected to Internet, has rapidly progressed, with the introduction of high-speed and high-capacity wireless communication networks including 5G and beyond, and sensor networks. We challenge sensing human and human vital sings with wireless technology such as sub-7/60/78 GHz Radars and Wi-Fi networks, applying space-time and frequency domain signal processing and machine learning (AI).

近年5G and beyond等の高速・大容量情報通信ネットワークやセンサネットワークの導入が進み，スマートフォンや様々なモバイルセンサの普及とともに，あらゆるモノがネットワークにつながるIoT技術の社会実装が進んでいます．戸田研究室では，sub-7/60/78 GHz帯のセンサやレーダ，Wi-Fiネットワークを用いて，時空間・周波数領域信号処理や，ディープラーニングをはじめとする機械学習(AI)を応用し，人や人の生体情報センシングに関する研究に取り組んでいます．
人々の日々の生活の中で，電波による人の行動やバイタルサインの見守りによって，プライバシーも守られながら，より安心・安全で快適な生活を送ることができる，そのような社会の実現に貢献できるよう日々チャレンジし続けています．
